1/8/2016 明天查冰岛、日本签证。看machine learning网课。 1/7/2016 看了ws和tjc的linkedin+github，觉得大家都好优秀。 认真总结自己做过的project，并且放到网上展示。 刚看到这篇文章里的第一篇日记，什么鬼呀！什么聊歌剧聊007的完全是同学们不熟好么！现在熟起来天天都聊太子妃……233333. 8.25 第七天 刚刚看了Why I Choose Yale的宣传片。第一次看它时还是在大一还是大二的时候。 视频中的画面这几天我基本都有一一亲眼见过，忽然意识到。之前自己总想着刷题找工作，有点狭隘了。 并不是每个人都能来到Yale，来这里之后更应该珍惜这里的环境，体会风土人情和积极社交，而并不是憋在房间里码代码，与世隔绝。代码在哪里都能写，USC可以，CMU可以，ZJU也可以。既然来到Yale，就应该尝试一些Yale特有的东西，experience sth different.这有点像到了名胜古迹去旅游，结果却不游山玩水，而是每天躲在旅店里看电视或打牌。 这几天接触下来，我觉得Social是美国人的一个习惯，他们并不抱有某种目的去社交，或者说并不抱有主观的目的，而是仅仅是为了自己开心，想要和别人谈话，获取认同，交换看法。 并且，更喜欢自己一个人的闲逛。这样可以静下心啦整理思绪，静静体悟纽黑文这个城镇的风土人情。 不枉来Yale一次。 毕业之后，人家不会问你在Yale刷了多少题，而是问你Yale的学习氛围，教学水平，文化多样性，给你带来哪些改变等等，如果答不出来，恐怕确实枉来一次了。 8.26 第八天 去Yale Health Center看眼睛，眼睛迷了。 之前就听说在美国看病效率很低，今天是真体会到了。 它并不是First come first serve，而是Most serious，first serve。 先去Acute Care（急诊），再转到Student Health，再转到opthalmology。足足等了两个小时，看眼睛只用了两分钟。这还是假期期间大夫不忙的情况…… 期间有很多提前预约的学生过来，于是就被华丽丽地插队了。 晚上注册下MyChart，应该可以网上预约医生的。 不过，虽然等了很久，但真正当自己被serve时，还是体会到了被尊重和美国对privacy的重视。 每个人先坐在椅子上等着，然后单独进去测视力，问病史，期间门都是关着的，单独询问。 我被问了是否吸烟，是否饮酒，是否正在服药，是否有过敏史，是否有糖尿病，家人是否有糖尿病，家人是否有盲人，眼睛是否冒金星，眼睛看太阳时是否会眩晕……尼玛我只是眯眼睛啊……至于问这么多吗…… 常规询问完后，我们被引进一个dilation屋子坐着，等最后的大夫来检查。 最后，他翻起我的眼皮，用棉签把一块fabric擦了出来。全程两分钟…… 医院确实很干净，一定要参加医疗保险，但一般不包括eye care […]
